LTL-Team provided land acquisition and relocation assistance services under a Voluntary Land Acquisition Program involving 172 properties. The Program’s purpose was to address both noise mitigation and safety requirements as per the FAA, due to T.F. Green Airport’s approved runway-extension project. With the help of LTL-Team, Rhode Island Airport Corporation was able to secure and utilize nearly $35M in FAA grants to be used for their land acquisition programs. Additional services provided to RIAC included easement acquisitions for obstruction removal, updating RIAC’s Noise Land Re-Use Plan and demolition services related to the removal of airport owned commercial buildings. While these acquisitions were voluntary in nature, under the professional services provided, LTL saw an overwhelming participation in the program.
